Responsibility of The District Office

The Quest Global Internship program is a joint collaboration between the local Alliance Church,  The Central Canadian District of The Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and The Jaffrey Centre\Ambrose University and College.  The internship program is possible because of the cooperation and involvement of our missionaries living on the field.

The goal of Quest is to provide post secondary school age students, University students and young professionals an opportunity to experience life in a global missions atmosphere.  An internship may last anywhere from (3) three to (12) twelve months.

The District Office will:

a)      Be responsible for the overall implementation of the Interns mission experience.

b)      Ensure that Intern has fulfilled all of the obligations as outlined in the internship Responsibility Form.

c)      Work with our International Staff to ensure that the intern is settled in their field.

d)      Work with the International Staff to oversee the interns progress in the field.

e)      Work the interns Mentor to review the progress of the intern.

f)       Act as a liaison between the intern, local church and international church.

g)      Follow-up with the intern upon their return from the field to help in the area of return culture shock.
