Where in the World is Sarah Reaume?

News from Sarah...

I just need to say first..I didn't fall off the face of the earth again.. I've been gone! A college and career group from London Ontario was down for two weeks doing missions here and I was able to join their team!
It was a great experience and a chance to see other aspects of ministry. Were were about 6 hours north of the city first of all on a little ranch out in the middle of nowhere! it was like stepping back in time! it was great! I didn't even mind the "au natural" way of bathrooms! although I did appreciate the showers we had at our second destination in irapuato. my hair was getting pretty gross after four days of no showering!! but I survived!A mexican team from another alliance church here in the city joined us on the trip. there were 6 of them total. It was great to get to know them and they were a great encouragement. 3 of them did speak english aswell and the other 3 only spanish. with the ontario team even though there was a language barrier with them, there were still great connections with them and it was great to see! The power of God!
Out at the ranch we replaced the roof of one of their little house and evanglized to the surrounding ranches/community. I've never done door to door ministry before and it was cool to have the chance to step out of my comfort zone that way. Some people were totally closed to what we had to say and yet others were totally open. Seeds were planted and I can only pray through the bibles we gave out, that God will cultivate those seeds and teach those people about Him through his word.
we then were in Irapuato doing minsitry with a man named luis and his wife carla. we put on a program all three afternoons we were there in poor or indigenous parts of town. we would show up, walk around to all the neighbors, give them tracks that luis had made up and tell them about the program we were having in fifteen minutes and they would come! all three afternoons we had great crowds and it was awesome to see! Gracias a Dios!

God was with us and he worked through us and I can't thank him enough for that. This trip was really great for me for a few different reasons. One being that it was great to get a bit of canada come to me! The team was great and we got along really well and had a lot of fun!
this trip was also refreshing for me. I was able to speak in my own language again and I was able to be me. With a language barrier I've been a lot quieter person! I haven't learned how to be me in Spanish yet!!! but with more language that will come! This trip also pulled on some heart strings for me. I don't know yet what it all means but its a journey I'm starting to see what God has to say. I hope I'm always open to listen!!

So thats a bit of what my two weeks have looked like!
God's great blessings to you and Adios for now

Adios for now!!
